POLICIES AND HOUSE RULES
BOOKING, CHECK IN/OUT AND HEAD COUNT

Standard check-in time is 2:00pm

Standard check-out time is 11:00am the next day.

Early check in is possible upon confirmation of your booking agent. If guests wants to use the room early, 350/hr is charged. This starts before 1pm

Minors 10 years old below are free of charge.

Reserved guests are coordinated to our on-site staff including their Name, paid head count, reservation fee, remaining balance and other notes. Walk-in guests are required to pay in full upon check in.

Upon arrival, guests must be accompanied to the receiving area (counter) to fill out GUEST INFORMATION FORM. They are REQUIRED to fill out the form especially the head count area. Check if this is accurate.

Remaining balance should be settled first before accompanying guest to their respective rooms.

Upon check in, Php1,000.00 is collected as security deposit. Strictly cash basis ONLY for Security Deposit. Cancellation on the day of the booking is considered forfeited. This applies to reserved guests.

Please observe proper check out time. Any concerns please reach out to our staff or your booking agent.

Kindly proceed to the reception area (function area) for check out. Room check will be done by our staff. Security deposit will be returned once everything is cleared and remaining balances are paid for.
ROOMS, VERANDA AND PETS

Rooms are all NON SMOKING area. A fine of 5,000 Php will be charged for violating the policy.Verandas can be used as a smoking area, ashtrays are available for cigarette butts. Please dispose properly and do not litter within the premises.

Rooms are turned over to guests in good condition. Unless mentioned and noted otherwise for some items or areas that are known faulty. Corresponding fees for missing, broken, heavily soiled items will be applied upon check out.

Self brought food is CORKAGE FREE. But we do charge a minimum amount for using the kitchen equipments.

No towels are provided upon check in. Please bring your own towels and toiletries.

Loud Sounds, Music, Personal Videoke and a like must be kept to minimal by 9:00pm

Any concerns or fixes within your assigned room, please report immediately to our staff. Try not to resolve the issues on your own.
We still recommend to be alert and vigilant at all times. We highly suggest to keep/bring (when possible) your valuable items. The resort and staff members are not liable for any loss unless proven (through our cctv footages). The resort is still considered a public place.
PET POLICY

Pets are allowed at the resort. However, it is each owner’s responsibility to maintain, after care and behavior of their pets. Please provide vaccination card upon arrival.

It is also prohibited to use any resort owned linens or towels to be used for any pet cleaning or sleeping (corresponding fees apply).

It is advised to bring necessary accessories specifically for pet care. In the event that any misbehavior caused by pets are inflicted to other guests, it will be the responsibility and liability of the owner to coordinate with the guest concerned.

STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED in swimming pool.
Pet fee: ₱500 per pet (for entire stay)
Extra Security Deposit: ₱1,000 per pet
(this will be returned in full if no damages, highly soiled linens etc. related to the pet/s)

Pet cages and/or leash are recommended and are only placed on their respective verandas.
Because Balai Pahuwayan is a resort for all guests, we have to ensure that all rooms will be turned over as clean as possible in consideration to the next guest may it be with or without pets. We appreciate your understanding on this matter
FOOD, BREAKFAST AND COMMON AREAS
Currently, there are no corkage fees applied for food and drinks brought to the resort. But we charge a minimal when using the Common Kitchen to cook guest meals.
Guests checked-in can dine at the common dining area.
The resort observes CLAYGO policy. Kindly be responsible in cleaning up any waste related to cooking and dining.
Rentals of games and other recreation can be found on our fees list. Please seek assistance from our friendly staff.
For your safety and the protection of the property, we have security cameras installed in certain areas of the property.
POOL AND BEACH AREA !!! IMPORTANT !!!

Pool is available from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm

NO eating and drinking in the pool and within its area.

NO running, NO rough play and NO diving in the pool. NO LIFEGUARD present at the property.

NO PETS at the pool.

Pool is shared for all checked-in guests.

Minors are asked to be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Proper swimming attire is required when using the pool. Cotton clothing contributes negatively in the cleanliness of the pool.

Using the shower or water bucket to clean feet, sand etc should be done before using the pool.
With reminders in place, The resort is not liable for accidents caused by bending rules. The resort will assist in providing first aid and assist in seeking medical help from the LGU for the incident. Please note that nearest hospital is 1 hour away.
The Cabangan beach is available at all times however please note of the following:
- Balai Pahuwayan is NOT a beach front resort. This means, we do not have a designated lifeguard to oversee your activities.
- There is a designated area for Balai Pahuwayan guests to use. This is shared for all guests.
- Staying at the designated area prior to your check-in is possible but with a corresponding fee.Please coordinate with your booking agent for more details.
- We advise that you only swim at the beach when it is calm. No high waves. This will prevent major and minor accidents which is common on any beach.
- All minors are advised to be accompanied at all times.
- We recommend to take advantage of the beach from 6:00am-5:30pm ONLY to avoid accidents.
- We only recommend for you to take advantage of the beach only when the weather is fair and sunny. We do not recommend for you to go to the beach when there’s a storm or even an LPA reported.
The resort is not liable for any accidents involving the beach area. Reminders are in place.
CANCELLATIONS and RE-BOOKING

Resort honors cancellation of booking if advised a min. of 15 working days prior to your booking date. Not applicable to bookings scheduled during peak seasons, holidays and promos. Applicable to regular bookings only.

Cancellations initiated by guests 15 working days prior are only refunded 50%. It takes 30 business days from the date of cancellation and coordination for the transaction to be completed. This will be deposited to your nominated bank account. Booking responsibly is encouraged.

In cases of severe weather conditions, only re-booking of your dates are available.

STRICTLY NO CANCELLATION on the same day of booking, during SUMMER (March-April-May), BER MONTHS (Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec), DECLARED HOLIDAYS (All Philippine Holidays) AND PROMOS. This applies to reservation fees and full payments. Only re-booking is available on promos, lean season dates (subject to availability)

The resort has the right to cancel your booking in the event of uncontrolled and disruptive behavior that affects, insults, degrade and post threat to the staff and to other guests. The resort only covers the fees that are accommodation related or are items paid as services by the resort.

The booking agents provides pictures, videos of the resort. Due diligence and responsible booking is encouraged.
PRIVACY POLICY

The resort observes Data Privacy Law that seeks to protect all forms of information, be it private, personal, or sensitive. It is meant to cover both natural and juridical persons involved in the processing of personal information.

Your information will never be shared nor used for any other purpose than booking and filing purposes.

For any pictures and promotions, our friendly staff always asks for your permission if a captured picture can be used for our social media account. We do not force nor post without permission.

The resort is a mixed accommodation of guests, but your booking details and whereabouts are not shared with random people not booked in our facility.

We keep the privacy of our guests within our premises.
